Global Intellectual Property Festival was Held in Daejeon! (The 1st Daejeon International IP Festival)

The Korean Intellectual Property Office (Director Park Won-joo) announced that it will hold the 2019 Daejeon International IP Festival at the DCC Daejeon Convention Center (Daejeon Yuseong-gu) on the 16th under the theme of Innovation Growth with Global IP Networking.
□ "Daejeon International IP Festival" is the first local intellectual property festival to be held in Daejeon, and it is the largest intellectual property festival in the region with a variety of specialized events such as intellectual property seminars and forums, IP technology transfers and technical financial consultations as well as exhibition and experience events of outstanding inventions.
□ As a major event,
ᄋ The IP Sketchbook with the Director of the Patent Office will be held to listen to difficulties and solve questions related to intellectual property through real-time on-site questions and answers with start-up companies.
ᄋ In "Power Networking," where consumers who want to consult on intellectual property and experts on intellectual property belonging to major private and public organizations at home and abroad will be matched, about 250 people will participate to establish practical business relations through mutual exchanges and in-depth counseling and try to solve problems based on them.
* About 50 start-ups and laboratory start-ups in Chungnam, Chungbuk, Sejong and Daejeon within three years of their start-ups will participate.
□ In addition, various seminars and forums are prepared for discussion by domestic and foreign intellectual property experts on the impact and role of intellectual property on national policy and industrial innovation strategies.
ᄋ "IP Information Service Show & Fair" will be held to foster and utilize the domestic intellectual property information industry, "Intellectual Property and Innovation Economy Forum" to identify major trends in domestic and foreign industries and policies related to intellectual property and to prepare industry-specific innovation strategies through prospects, and "IP Trend Strategy Seminar" will be held to establish networks among companies and share business cases by industry.
In addition, various programs such as "Global Technology Commercialization Workshop," "Global IP Strategy Seminar," "National Science and Technology Research Association (NST) and Science and Technology Research Seminar" will be held, and IP technology transfer and technical financial support consultations will be held through the "Small and Medium Venture Business Technology Transfer and Technology Finance Consultation Meeting" organized by the Korea Technology Guarantee Fund.
□ During the event, there will also be a variety of hands-on events where visitors can see and experience cutting-edge science and technology in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, including exercise simulators and wearable batteries.
