Measurement data is stored in the BATCAM’s internal memory in .jpg or .avi format. A USB storage device with a “FAT 32” format is required to export the data. You can connect the storage to a USB port located on the left side of the product to enable the data export function.

BATCAM 2.0 can store the data in photos or videos using the SAVE button located in the upper-right corner of the instrument. Short press of the button saves the .jpg format images, and long press saves .avi format videos.

BATCAM 2.0 can measure and analyze sounds from 2 kHz to 48 kHz.

The internal Samsung lithium-ion battery provides around 4 hours of continuous use when fully charged. We also have a small external battery that can provide an additional 4 hours of use for those needing extended runtimes.

BATCAM 2.0 can detect and confirm the location of a 50 cc/min leak at a distance of 1 m(3 ft).

BATCAM 2.0 can detect not only gas leak but also the location of noise caused by electric or mechanical faults. By adjusting the measurement frequency band and the sound pressure filter, the BATCAM 2.0 can visually pinpoint noises coming from specific locations up to 50 m(150 ft) away.

PRPD pattern analysis function, which is commonly used to measure electric defects, is currently being developed and will be added as soon as possible.

Even in noisy measurement environments such as factories and external environments, frequency filtering(band pass filtering) can be used to measure and track noise.

For equipment with multiple microphone sensors, the higher the number of sensors, the higher the performance of the equipment. In the case of BATCAM 2.0, 112 microphones are optimized in a unique sensor array to produce visually measurable images in audible and ultrasonic frequencies.

BATCAM 2.0 can detect and measure all types of gases by detecting the ultrasonic turbulent sound generated by the leak.
