As high-pressured gas passed through a small crack in the pipe, the vibration generates ultra-sonic waves.
The sensor arrays of BATCAM analyzes the intensity and sequence of the received signals to locate the sound source.
Optimized Detection Range
Through numerous tests, SMI optimized the frequency detection range. The sound from gas leaks is maximized while the surrounding noises are at a minimum.
As a result, BATCAM can detect accurate location of gas leaks in an outdoor environment.
